How to access the salon from Finsbury Park Station

September 16th, 2014

Finsbury Park Station is served by the Piccadilly and Victoria Underground lines, and also connects to the National Rail Overground. To get to Rikyu from here, you will need to take bus route W7 – arrival time should be about 20-30 minutes.

To create an optimal access plan for yourself, please use the Transport For London website: here

Finsbury Park Station has two main exits. In front of the South exit is the official shop of Arsenal football club. ↓

1.The W7 bus stop, however, is unfortunately on the opposite side of the station! You will need the North exit on the Seven Sisters Road side, which is named Wells Terrace. ↓

Muswell Hill Broadway is the terminus stop for this route. You will need to get off one stop before then – the ride time is around 15-20 minutes.

On the way you will be going through Crouch End, which is one of the more stylish areas of north London – feel free to check out the shops and cafes there if you have time! ↓

2.Once you begin to climb the hill towards Muswell Hill, prepare to get off. You will need to alight at the stop named Grosvenor Gardens, which is one stop before the end of the route. ↓

3.From there, walk a few metres uphill, then turn left onto St James’s Lane. You’ll find yourself walking round a couple of tight corners – walk along for a few minutes and you’ll see on your right…

4.The Famous Royal Oak pub! ↓

5.The road directly opposite the pub is Ellington Road. Walk along the road for a few minutes and you will see number 10 on your left, called Ellington Place. The salon is here; just walk through the gate and we are on your left.
