How does it work?

In Rikyu’s vitamin facial featuring Environ, we use the Environ Ionzyme® DF 2 Machine. Thanks to this, it helps to deliver the active vitamins to the deeper layer of the skin. 

Pulsed Iontophoresis – This method penetrates vitamins into the skin through the use of a pulsed electrical current, which works at a specific rate to help with the penetration of vitamins. We use this method for larger skin areas such as the face and neck.　

Low Frequency Sonophoresis – This method transports vitamin molecules through the skin by using low frequency sound waves to aid penetration of the outer skin layers. LFS is far more effective than conventional ultrasound treatments. We use LFS for smaller areas such as pigmentation marks or lines around the eyes.

The Environ Ionzyme® DF 2 Machine is the first machine to combine the techniques of Iontophoresis and Sonophoresis at this level of potency.

It’s scientifically proven, when working on a small area, that the penetration will be boosted up to 40 times more effectively per 15 seconds with the dual technology of Iontophoresis and Sonophoresis than if topically applied to the surface of the skin. Also, the Field Iontophoresis mask will enhance the penetration 4 times better than using the mask without electricity.

In short, it gives you a much faster and optimum result in far less time!
